Power of Place at the Spencer Museum of Art - Lawrence, KS
It was a supreme pleasure to attend my first Museum show at one of my favorite places, the Spencer Museum of Art. From opening remarks which acknowledged the history of the University of Kansas with an emphasis on it’s Native History to a packed house for the reception, the night was inspired.
On Thursday I served on one of two panels entitled Visualizing Place with other fantastic KU alumni artists.

Two works included in this exhibition: Manifold Landscapes (drawing) and Patience Corners (fiber).
Honored to be counted among the 30 Alumni Artists. A small (humbled) fish in a great, big art world.
What a pleasure to be given a platform to share the work I believe in. Thanks all around - University of Kansas, my husband and kids, the Spencer Museum of Art, and Lawrence, KS!
